Temple History Banryongsa Temple (or Ballyongsa Temple) is located to the east of Mt. Misungsan (755 m) in western Goryeong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. This Banryongsa Temple shouldn’t be confused with the one in neighbouring Gyeongsan, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Banryongsa Temple means “Curled/Coiled Dragon Temple” in English.
