My All New Book – “The Legends and Myths of Korean Buddhist Temples”

Hello Again Everyone!!

I just recently published my fourth temple book, The Legends and Myths of Korean Buddhist Temples. In total, there are over 100 legends and myths contained within this nearly 300 page book with over 100 colour pictures, as well.

The Legends and Myths of Korean Buddhist Temples explores the rich tradition of stories that permeate Korean Buddhism and its temples. These legends have endured for many reasons: they preserve historical events, honor individuals and sacred places, and convey moral lessons or values such as bravery, justice, and faith. Some legends inspire and entertain, while others use natural elements—weather, animals, or landscapes—to explain mysterious events.

Legends also play a vital role in strengthening national, religious, and cultural identities by highlighting themes of resilience, wisdom, and achievement. Passed down through generations, they have created a shared sense of cultural bonds that connect people to their past.

This collection presents over a hundred temples and their associated legends, each contributing to the deep connections found within Korean culture, history, and religious beliefs. These stories have helped nourish and sustain Koreans in their search for truth and identity.

There are two versions of the book you can buy. The first is the paperback version, which you can buy on Amazon here: Paperback Version of The Legends and Myths of Korean Buddhist Temples.

There is also an e-version of the book that you can buy here on Amazon: E-Version of The Legends and Myths of Korean Buddhist Temples.

And if you do in fact purchase the book and enjoy it, please, please, please, leave a positive review. I find positive reviews really help with future sales.

As always, thanks for your support!

Sincerely

Dale Q.
